Shirley Cecilia (Pack) Donley

Shirley Cecilia (Pack) Donley, 95, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital-WVU Medicine, Wheeling, WV.
     Shirley was born November 15, 1927, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Herman and Garnet (Mueller) Pack.  She was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph Academy and a former employee of C&P Telephone Co.  She was also a member of St. Michael Parish, Wheeling, where she was once active in the Christian Mothers; and a member of the Carroll Ladies of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 504, Wheeling.
     In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward "Ed" Donley, in 2009; a son, Randy Donley; and two sisters, Bona Grimes and June Vargo.
     Shirley is survived by her three daughters, Sue Salvaterra of Canton, OH, Christine (Bert) Snedeker of Martins Ferry, OH and Rhonda Marsh of Wheeling; nine grandchildren, Ty Salvaterra, Brad (Lisa) Salvaterra, Ryan Snedeker, Brock (Amy) Snedeker, Casey (Brian) McFarland, Lindsay (David) Weaver, Kyle Marsh, Austin (Liz) Marsh and Alex (Hope) Donley; and 11 great-grandchildren, Lauren and Ella McFarland, Collin and Abbey Snedeker, Nathan and Brody Weaver, Boden and Lakota Marsh, Kyler Donley, and Chase and Emerson Salvaterra.
    Family and friends will be received from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm, Wednesday November 30, 2022, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, with Rev. Carlos Melocoton, Jr. as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
