Rita Mae (Lutes) Sigley

Rita Mae (Lutes) Sigley, 80, of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 17, 2022.  Rita was born on April 7, 1941 in Colliers, WV to the late Charles Franklin and Rose Corrinne (Weimer) Lutes.  She was preceded in death by her husband Hayward Jerome Sigley (2016), also by four sisters and one brother, a daughter Roberta Trahern, a son Jeffrey Charles Sigley.  Rita is survived by five children Barbara (Donald) Neff, Beverly Gordon, Becky Young, Kimberly (Terry) Bills and Judith (Stephen) Strothers, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister Carol Truax, .  A graveside service will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Thursday April 7, 2022 where she and husband will be reunited on their shared birthdays at 2 pm with  Rev. Marlin Hawley celebrant.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
