Richard Hixenbaugh Obituary

Richard James Hixenbaugh, 79, born in Wheeling, WV, son of the late James and Wilma Hixenbaugh, brother of the late Daniel Hixenbaugh of Florida. Richard was a former Marine serving from 1961 to 1965. His passions were his Harleys he had through the years, and he was an avid gun enthusiast. He worked as a mechanic for many years. Prior to retirement he worked as a kennel worker at a local veterinarian office. He was a father to six children Chad (Kimberly) Hixenbaugh, Brenda (Carl) Moore, Wayne (Cheryl) Hixenbaugh, Crystal (John) Vlaovich, Stephanie Travis, and his son who passed, Sean Hixenbaugh. He has several grandkids and great grandkids, he was closest with Kyle and Dylan, who above all else brought him great Joy. Richard will be cremated with no services at this time and burial at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
