Leona Patricia Backel, 70, of Steubenville, OH passed away on March 3, 2023 at Trinity West. She was born on November 19, 1952 to the late Eufemio "Bill and Isabel (Venegaz) Rodriguez. She was also preceded in death by one sister Julia Yeakel and one brother Paul Rodriguez. Leona is survived by two sisters Nora Adams of Bradenton, FL, Enedina "Marcia" Orbovich of Michigan City, Indiana, and two wonderful caregiver/friends Stanley Grabiak, and Robert Harr. Leona has Donated her body to WVU Medical Center to further the research of Medical Science.
