Obituary

Larry Allen Biddle, Sr 86 of East Liverpool OH passed away after a courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure at The Orchards in East Liverpool, OH, on February 19, 2023. He was born May 20, 1936 to the late Manley and Ruth (Hoffman) Biddle Toronto OH. He started his work journey working for his father at the LightHouse Truck Stop Steubenville, OH and Biddle and Son Service station in Toronto, OH. He made his living as a truck driver for 48 yrs, retiring from Ace Hardware in Prescott AZ.  He had numerous Safe Driving awards across his 48 yrs of driving over the road and traveled over 4 million miles.  He came out of retirement and became a Security guard and worked at the Ohio Valley EMSTAR Wheeling for 8 yrs. 

Larry never met a stranger . He loved to BS and talk about Big Trucks and loved Drag Racing. He had a sense of humor like no other, he was never at a loss for words and always had some crazy comment to make people laugh. He was a great Dad and he loved his family. We will miss him.

Preceded in death by a Sister Beverly Biddle and Niece Kimberly Kime. 

Left to Cherish and Honor is memory are his wife Carrie (Skinner) Biddle of 16 yrs of St Clairsville, OH, 1 son and 3 daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Klopfer of Lewis Center, OH, Larry A (Kim) Biddle Jr of Osceola, IN, Donna Biddle (David) of East Liverpool, OH with whom Larry lived with for the past 4 yrs, Cathy Chrisman (David) of Port Charlotte, FL and Stepchildren Carolyn (Jack) McDermott, Gordon (Maggie) Pyles. His Sister Dana Kime of Penn Valley CA and Nephew Ed Kime of OR

8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, 6 Step Grandchildren

I would like to thank his Friends Bill and Phyllis Swan WV friends for 44 yrs for going to see him every day, Ray and Kayla Weddle of WI friends for 23 yrs, Harold Burton OH, Dan Taggart FL, Art Miller OH. Janet & Becky Hoover Some Place Else Restaurant Wellsville, OH where Dad went for breakfast almost every day. 

At Larry’s request there will be no services. A memorial will be planned for a later date in May 2023, please send your name and address to email donna.biddle@yahoo.com if you would like to attend.
