Joseph F. Porter Jr., 96, of Steubenville, OH died Saturday September 25, 2021 at Trinity West. He was born on June 7, 1925 to the late Joseph Franklin and Helen Grace (Ferguson) Porter. He is also preceded in death by one daughter Patty Porter. Joe was a World War 2 Navy Veteran, a Millwright for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, and a member of the Finley United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Helen Almyra Porter, four children Carroll Porter of Steubenville, Kathy (Orben) Cyrus of Akron, OH, Joseph Porter III of Mingo Jct., and Stephen Porter of Nebraska. Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., OH on Wednesday, September 29, from 2-6 p.m. with services at 4 p.m. with Rev. Rick Dawson officiating
