Joseph E. "Meatball" Long

 Joseph E. "Meatball"  Long, 56, of Bellaire, OH passed away on March 29, 2024 at home surrounded by family and friends.  He was born on June 10, 1967 to the late Edgar Long and  Surviving Rita (Davey) Long.  Joseph was a graduate of Bellaire High School, roofer for Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, roofer of Local 188 Wheeling, and retired from the SMC Sentinels  "a brother rider".  He leaves behind his wife Virginia Louise '"Jenny" (Leasure) Long of 19 years, five children Christy Edwards of Moundsville, Tiffany Leasure, Devon Long, Elise Long and Gage Warner all of Bellaire, nine grandchildren Kaylynn, Luke, Landen, Brayden, Heavenly, Ryker, Arizona, Wyatt, and Deacon, one sister Lora Valentine, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday April 12 from 3- 5 pm with lunch to follow at the Salvation Army Church 315 37th St, Bellaire, OH 43906.  Schuetz Funeral is assisting the family.
