John Edward Slatniske Jr., 71, of Steubenville, OH passed away on March 29, 2023 at home. He was born on March 25, 1952 to the late John Edward and Joann (Hood) Slatniske. He is also preceded in death by one sister Donna Rouse. John retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel he also was a member of the Mingo Knights of Columbus Council 4361, and a local Pool League. He is survived by his three children Jessica (Robert) Morgan of Mingo Jct., Zachary Slatniske of Steubenville, and Sarah Slatniske of Steubenville, four grandchildren Jackson, Lily, Paige, Ryan, and one great grandchild Willow, one brother Robert (Lori) Slatniske of Mingo Jct., and his significant other Maryann Rayburn. There will be no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
