John William Briggs Jr., 61, of Dillonvale, OH passed away on January 25, 2023 at home surrounded by family. He was born on March 1, 1961 to the late John William Sr. and Sarah (Dunlap) Briggs. He is also preceded in death by one granddaughter Catlin Barnhart, and one brother Danny "Pinhead" Briggs. John was a trucker for most of his life and he enjoyed Football (The Browns) Hunting, Fishing, he was all about his family, and gave his cancer a heck of a fight. He is survived by three Daughter Amanda (Brandon) Bow of Dillonvale, Beth (Michael) Young of Tiltonsville, Patricia Pados of Yorkville, nine grandchildren Shyann Higgins, Logan Briggs, and Gabriel Bow, Emma, Piper, and Mikey Young, Emily, Raelynn, and Devyn Pados. two brothers Bobby Briggs of Bellaire, Mike Briggs of Steubenville, and two sisters Lisa Jeffers of Adena, Debbie Briggs of Malvern. There will be no services for John at this time. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to the Schuetz Funeral Home to defray costs for John's Cremation.
