Hope Elaine Carpenter, 68, passed away on March 12, 2021 at Wheeling Continuous Care. She was born on December 1, 1952 to the late Ray and Loretta (Doty) Speece. She is also preceded in death by three brothers. She leaves behind her husband of 26 years Paul J. Carpenter, six children David Blackburn of Martins Ferry, Nora (Josh) Thompson of Brilliant, Jody Carpenter of Florida, Kristi Anderson of Yorkville, Paul Jr. Carpenter of Adena, Danny Carpenter of Rayland, Justin Carpenter of Columbus, and Crystal Carpenter of Adena, twelve grandchildren Alicia, Joe, Matthew, Dakota Carpenter, Ember & Evan Carpenter, Breanna Brokaw, Allison Ignacak, Courtney & Nickolas Anderson, one great granddaughter Ella Carpenter, and two sisters Jackie and Connie. Hope's wish was to be cremated with no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
