Dean Thomas Gibson Jr.

Dean Thomas Gibson Jr, 82, of Mingo Junction, OH,  passed away August 10, 2017 at West Penn. Hospital. He was born on July 13, 1935 to the Dean Thomas Sr. and Laura Mae (Stout) Gibson.  Dean worked for Nickles Bakery in Matins Ferry, OH, was a 40 year member of GKL who held almost every office, an avid hunter, was a Scout Master and helped with Boy Scouts Troop #7 of Mingo Jct., Knights of Pythias member and a member of Harmony Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife Lou Ann (Blackburn) Gibson of 47 years, four children Deanna Law of Columbian, OH, John Thomas Gibson of Mingo Jct., Walt (Karen) Gibson of Unionport, OH, and Dean Thomas Gibson III of Mingo Jct., four grand children Brandon Law, John Thomas Gibson Jr., Ashten and Justin Gibson, and one sister Judy (Jerry) Barilla of Steubenville. Friends may call on Sunday August 13, 2017 at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., from 4- 8 pm and again on Monday at 10 am with pastor Sam Davis officiating.
