Daniel McCabe Obituary

Daniel Lee McCabe, 26, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away November 12, 2020 at Valley Hospice in Steubenville, OH. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Rebecca Casey and James Bolllinger, and his paternal  grandfather Ronald McCabe. He was born December 13, 1993, in Missouri, a son of Gary McCabe and  Tammie Bollinger-McCabe.  Daniel was a laborer on the pipeline for about 6 years, always described as the hardest worker out there.  He loved pursuing new skills, a jack of all trades, but was particularly interested in technology/electronics, video games, and most of all, automotive work.  Repairing vehicles was his passion, but his family was his proudest accomplishment. In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by fiance' Brittany Matthews, their children Kenna and Matthew McCabe, his sister Stephanie (Clyde) Davidson of Barnesville, OH,  his brother Dylan McCabe of Springfield, Missouri and Paternal grandmother Ruby Porch of Missouri. Friends will be received at First Presbyterian Church of Dillonvale,  52 Liberty Street Dillonvale, OH 43917 on Tuesday November 17th  from 4 to 8 pm and again Wednesday from 10 am until time of service at 11 am with Pastor Bill Westling officating burial to follow at Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Schuetz Funeral Home.
