Craig Michael Ecker, 71, of Martins Ferry passed away surrounded by family on May 21, 2021. He was born on October 3, 1949 to the late Joseph and Lillian (Adams) Ecker. Craig was an only child, a Catholic by faith, worked as a Foreman for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, and also at Consol Energy as an Underground Foreman, in his spare time he enjoyed Motorcycles, especially his 95th anniversary Harley, his Knife and Gun collection, and spending time with close friends. He leaves behind his wife Helen Marie (Rice) Ecker of 27 years, four children Tammy (Joseph) Huggins of Moundsville, Michael Ecker of Martins Ferry, Amie(Waylon) Bain of Adena, Abbey (Sean) Ecker of Barton, seven grandchildren Katelin, Molly, Lily, Cole, Lillian, Grace lynn, Weslynn, and one grand baby on the way. There will be no services at this time and the family will be planning a memorial services in the coming weeks. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
