August '"Jr." Marbais, 92, of Yorkville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, March 29, 2024 at the East Ohio Regional Hospital Long-Term & Skilled Nursing Facility in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was born January 9, 1932 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late August Sr. and Bertha Thompson Marbais. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Marbais and two sons, Terry Neil (Kim) Marbais and Brent Lee Marbais; step-sons Ken (Debbie) and Keith Donley and step-daughter Kathy (Craig) Donley Harris, siblings, Wallace, Joseph, David, John, Parks, Katherine, and Martha. Surviving is his wife Ethel Donley Marbais; daughter Tammy (Terry) Hosenfeld and step-daughter Kimberly (Don) Donley; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; special friends Judi Stephenson and Jim and Judith Scaffidi and family. Jr was a General Foreman of the Blast Furnace of Wheeling Pitts. Steel. He was also a life-long member and Trustee of Pine Valley Sportsmen's Club. In honor with Jr's request there will be no services. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to Pine Valley Sportsman's Club 841 Club Rd. #833, Adena, OH 43901.
