Anna Mae (Kovarik) Kennedy

 Anna(Kovarik) Kennedy, 82, of Steubenville, OH passed away on May 29, 2020 at Valley Hospice North. She was born on February 18, 1938 to the late Joseph and Lorene (Stewart) Kovarik. She is also preceded in death by her former husband Fred Kennedy, son Dennis Kennedy, and one sister Elizabeth Rice. Anna worked the board of Elections, JCPenney's and at Steubenville City Schools. She was a tender, kind, and loving person willing to give a hand up and quick to laugh. She was a member of the PNA Women's Auxiliary, and a golfer with the Lady Auxiliary at Bellview Park in Steubenville, Ohio. She is survived by her daughter Vicki (Rob) May of Steubenville, one grandson Scott Kennedy, two grand daughters Becky and Joni May, three brothers Joseph, Tom, & Matthew Kovarik, one sister Cecilia Arrico, and one companion dog Jasmine. There will be no services at this time at the deceased's request. She fought a long battle with lung cancer. The family would like to acknowledge and thank all the doctors, Dr. Meisner and Dr. Lofstead and other associated medical professionals that assisted and treated Ms. Kennedy.
