William "Bill" Paul Pekera

William "Bill" Pekera, 91, of Tiltonsville, OH passed away on April 8, 2024 at EORH ICU surrounded by family.   He was born on March 11, 1933 to the late Michael Pekera and Katherine (Padik) Steffik.  He is also preceded in death by the love of his life Joyce Ann (Bailey) Pekera,  2 1/2 brothers, one 1/2 sister, and four sisters.  Bill worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 44 years as a crane operator, and served in the U.S. Army.  He is survived by three children Roxann Boyd of Rayland, Renee Stull and Rhonda WIlliams both of Tiltonsville, one grandchild Eric (Natalie) Williams of Brilliant, two great granddaughters Gillian and Callie Williams, three step grandchildren   Todd (Kris) Boyd, Tim (Tonda) Boyd, and Terry Boyd, eight step great grandchildren Christopher, Zac, Ryan, Alec, Kaleigh, Jackson, Maxwell, and Ella, and one sister JoAnn Staten of Smithfield.  There will be no service at this time.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
