"Bub" Beall

Walter "Bub" Beall, departed this world on the early morning of September 17, 2025, at Weirton Medical Center. Born on April 10, 1963, in Wheeling, WV, he lived a life rich with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. Bub's boundless energy and spirit were evident from a young age, as he found joy in the simple pleasures — hanging out with his friends who he called brothers at the Parkview, fishing at Friendship Park and embarking on grand adventures with his childhood friend, Tommy Faulkner on Rush Run.

A man who never met a stranger, Bub excelled at making friends wherever he went. His hilarious nature and hard-working spirit made him a reliable figure for anyone in need. Whether it was helping with fundraisers for special children’s needs or being the life of every party, Bub’s presence had a way of lighting up the darkest of rooms. He was someone you could count on when a task needed doing, and his generosity of heart touched countless lives.

Bub leaves behind a vibrant family who carry forward his legacy. He is survived by his wife, Darla (Zook) Robinson, and four adoring children: Brooke (Donny) Showalter of Barnesville, Robert (Heather) Beall of Austintown, Travis Brown of Mingo Junction, and Dalton Beall of Columbus. He held a special place in his heart for Laurie Crothers, whom he regarded as a daughter. Bub was also the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren: Keira, Natalie, Jordan, Robert "Little Bill," Eisley, Evelyn, Amelia, Jonathan, and Karmen, whom he cherished immensely.

Bub was also deeply loved by his sisters: Nancy Beall of Brilliant and Janie (Beall) Miller of Mingo Junction, as well as his sister-in-law, Pamela Beall of Weirton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd L. and Daisy (McNevin) Beall, his cherished son Dillon Beall, and his brother Floyd A. Beall who named him Bub.

With every memory of him — from his infectious laughter to the unwavering support he offered — we are reminded of Bub's proudest accomplishments: his children and the family he loved. He made an indelible mark on the hearts of his loved ones and the community, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM with Rev. Becky Morris officiating, at Schuetz Funeral Home, located at 235 Clifton Ave., Mingo Junction, OH 43938. Graveside services will follow at Hopewell Cemetery and a meal will follow at Rush Run Christian Union Church.
