Virginia Louise "Jenny" (Nightengale) Titus

Virginia Louise Nightengale Titus, 72, of Wheeling passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 in WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital. She was born February 23, 1951. She is the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Robinson) Nightengale.

Virginia was a graduate of Wheeling High School and a retired employee of the City of Wheeling, where she worked as a Meter Maid for over 30 years.

Her hobbies were reading, cooking, listening to R&B music, and playing cards. She also loved to have family gatherings and invite friends over.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Nightengale and one grandchild, Kayla Miles.

She is survived by her son Gregory Nightengale, three sisters Lillian Smith, Bronzella Calloway, and Joyce Nightengale, and one brother James Nightengale

all of Wheeling, six grandchildren, LaShawnda, Rayshaun, and Bubs Pitts of Tennessee. Gregory Jr, G'Kwonte, and Brianna Nightengale of Wheeling, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank WVU ReynoldsMemorial Hospital staff for their exceptional care and support, during her stay with them.

Funeral services will be private and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
