Thomas William Cooper

Thomas W. Cooper of Wheeling, WV passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 54. He is survived by his beloved partner of 23 years, Erin Potts; mother Judy Raab; father William "Bill" Cooper and stepmother Vicki; brother Howard Cooper; sister Jamie Karwowski; father-in-law Alan "Brad" Potts; sister-in-law Kristin VanScyoc and her husband Chad; nieces Shaylyn and Devan VanScyoc and Emily Mazik; his dogs Lucy and Hazel; and many friends.

Tom worked as a painter and enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. He was a phenomenal cook and loved entertaining, always looking for a reason to have a party so he could share his food with his friends and family. He enjoyed gardening, fly-fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring new places with Erin and his dogs. He was a lover of all genres of music and attended countless concerts during his life.

Friends and family were important to him. His loyalty knew no bounds to those he cared about and he would always lend a helping hand. He was the friend you could count on.
