Tanya Lorene Matter, 52, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on September 17, 2025 unexpectedly. She was born on June 1, 1973 to the late Sanford and Nina (Lesnik) Matter. She is also preceded in death by one sister Rheanna Matter (94).
Tanya was into medical coding for most of her life.
She is survived by five children Coreena Matter of Fort Myers, FL, Kollin Kriaris of Martins Ferry, Kole Kriaris of Fort Myers FL, and Kalanna Kriaris of Martins Ferry, adopted daughter Mya Lynn, two brothers Borey (Stefanie) Matter, and Ryan (Beth) Criswell both of Illinois.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date. Please leave a condolence. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
