Tamar D. Grendel

Tamar D. Grendel, 86, of Steubenville, OH formerly of Tiltonsville, OH passed away at Valley Hospice Care Center North, on Saturday January 10, 2026.  

She was born on June 27, 1939 to the late Robert and Elsie (Artman) Armitage, she is also preceded in death by her husband John Grendel, a infant sister Helen Louise Armitage, and a son Rob Grendel.  Tamar was the former Co owner and operator of the Riverside Auto in Tiltonsville, now known as Arrow Frame and Collision.

She is survived by one daughter Tamar "Tammy" Sue (Randy) Koutsky of Rayland, OH, Daughter in Law Mary Grendel, grand daughters Mary Elise Grendel, and Keri Koutsky, three great grand daughters, one great great granddaughter, and extra special long time friend Sheila Crawford, and several cousins.  

There will be no services at this time.
