Sonya Lynn Bokanovich

Sonya Lynn Bokanovich, 64, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on September 12, 2026 surrounded by family.  She was preceded in death by her father Sylvester Mozden, her husband Gary "Greek" Bokanovich, and her Aunt Janet Myers.  

Sonya was a homemaker for most of her life, she loved the color peach, her kids thought of her as the greatest mother. 

Sonya is survived by her mother Alice Ruth (Myers) Worthington, three children Sheena Beal of Martins Ferry, OH, Jesse (Bev) Beal of Martins Ferry, and Lacey Pearson of Bridgport, seven grandchildren Arya Bokanovich, Cage Beal, A'Bella  Beal, Emma-Lee Beal, Jesse Gene Beal Jr. Fraya and AAliyah. siblings Pamala Steedman, Teresa Perge, Lisa Beal, Walt Beal and Thomas Church Jr. all of Bridgeport, OH, and many nieces and nephews
