It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sherry "Sherbear" Meade, who left us on August 24, 2024. Born on December 9, 1974, Sherry's infectious spirit and loving personality impacted many during her time with us.
Sherry was incredibly family-oriented, cherishing every moment spent with them. Her presence will be deeply missed by her daughters, Kayla Hetrick and Amber Hetrick; her grandchildren, Korrigan Palmer II, Lilah Barkes, Maelynn Baker, and Miura Barkes; her sisters, Donna Speece, Christy Berry, Cathy Berry, Julia Huntsman, and Rachel Lynch; and her brother Scott Huntsman and brother-in-law, Adam Speece. Sherry was predeceased by her father, Jimmy Berry; her sister, Tanya Huntsman; and her grandparents, Dewey Meade, Wanda Meade, and Mary Huntsman.
A woman of vibrant tastes and interests, Sherry had a deep love for music, especially the songs of The Judds and Lorrie Morgan, which will always make us think of her. Her favorite color, the striking hue of red, reflected her vivacious personality. She found joy in playing her favorite video game, Need for Speed Most Wanted on her beloved PS2 and watching her favorite films, the Fast and Furious series. Every free moment was often spent with her dog Dominic, her loyal companion, and her precious grandbabies, who were her heart and soul.
Sherry had a unique bond with her younger sister, Donna, often spending hours on the phone sharing sweet and heartfelt conversations. She loved her family deeply and treasured every moment shared with them. Her kind, sweet, and loving personality will forever resonate in our hearts.
In honor of Sherry's life, a fund has been set up to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions can be made at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of…. Your support during this difficult time is deeply appreciated.
In memory of our beloved Sherry, let us remember her as she was: living life to its fullest, loving without limits, and bringing joy into the lives of everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
