Shawn Edward "Chief" Harshey

Shawn Edward "Chief" Harshey, 59, of Toronto, OH passed away on July 26, 2021 at the Laurels surrounded by family. He was born on  January 17, 1962 to the late Frank James and Pearl Irene (Booth) Harshey, he was also preceded in death by one brother Frank James Harshey Jr.  Chief was a metal scraper by trade, a loyal friend, step dad, extra loving grandfather/husband.  He is survived by his wife "Bev" Beverly Jean (Moore) Harshey of 15 years, two children Bobbie Jo Taylor and Bryan Taylor and one grandchild Nevaeh Taylor all of Toronto, three brothers Troy (Amy) Harshey, and Gary (Tina) Kirby both of Washington, PA, Donald (Susan) Harshey of Weirton, two sisters Lynn Harshey of McDonald, PA,  Corinne (David Pickford) Harshey of Mingo Jct., OH, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is being planned for a future date.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
