Ronald "Tiger" "Jake" P-Man Lee Webb, a beloved father, grandfather, and longtime body man, passed away on April 4, 2026, at Trinity West Hospital after a courageous and lengthy battle with lung cancer and dementia. Born on February 25, 1942, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Ronald lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and an unmistakable spirit.
Known affectionately by many names—"Bones," "Tiger," "Jake," and "P-man"—he earned a reputation for being a skilled and creative repairman who enjoyed taking things apart and bringing them back to life. His hands were never still, as he found joy in scrapping, staying busy, and immersing himself in the simple pleasures of watching Gun Smoke. Those who knew him well remember his ornery grin and how he valued every person he encountered, always ready to give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
Ronald’s career spanned many years as a body man, where he diligently applied his talents, notably working for Staffalino's. Despite the demanding nature of his work, friends and family recall his generosity and warmth, hallmarks of a man who truly cared.
He is survived by his two children, Scott Landon (Elizabeth) Webb of Steubenville and Olivia Melinda Webb of Steubenville, and his cherished grandson, Scott Landon Webb Jr. of Gadsden, Alabama. He also held a special place in his heart for his dog, Killer, who brought him companionship and joy throughout the years.
Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved parents, David Ellwood and Mary-Ellen (Swonger) Jones; his longtime girlfriend, Beverly Hawkins, who stood by him for six years; his son, Kevin Glenn Webb; and his three siblings, Eleanor Chapeline, James Jones, and Janice "Pumkin" Burkhart.
Above all, Ronald took immense pride in his family — his children and grandson were his greatest accomplishments and a source of constant pride and love throughout his life. His legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
The memory of Ronald "Tiger" "Jake" P-Man Lee Webb will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him for his spirited personality, his willingness to lend a hand, and his enduring love. May he rest in peace.
