Roger Lee Salem Sr.

Roger Lee Salem Sr., 66, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on August 18, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born on March 24, 1957 to the late Joseph M. and Virginia Lee (Dorsey) Salem.  Roger was a Dog Trainer for Greyhounds by trade.  He is also preceded in death by four brothers Jimmy Joe, Benny, Buddy, and Terry Salem, and two sisters Karen Salem and Sarah Armstrong.  He is survived by his wife Kelly  JO (Nickerson) Salem of 39 years, one son Roger Lee Salem Jr. of Wheeling and one daughter Nicole (Josh) Urlaub of Galena, OH, three grandchildren Halle, Dylan, and Harper, one brother Thomas (Pauline) Salem of Wheeling, three sisters Jewel Monroe, Betsy Fekete, and Louann Vlasach all of Wheeling, many Nieces and Nephews.  A celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
