Robert Joseph Ponte

Robert Joseph Ponte, 83, peacefully passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 15, 2019, surrounded by loved ones;

"his girls", as he liked to call them, Aunt Paula, PaPa Larry, son-n-laws, and grandsons.  He was born November 20,1935, the son of the late Manuel and Rosaline Ponte.

Robert is survived by his wife, Phyllis Marie Ponte, of 50 years; his daughters, Denise (Rich) Adessa, Melissa (Charles) Waters, and Tricia (Brian) Dougherty; two sisters; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his son, Brian Manuel Ponte; sister, Priscilla Pike; and friend, Stanley Potock. Per Robert's wishes, he will be cremated.  Family and friends will be received at Paris Nazarene Church, 9 Long Street, Paris PA 15021 on Saturday, August 24 from 11 a.m. until the time of his memorial service at 12:30 p.m. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
