Richard Larry Reiter

Richard “Dick” Reiter, 76 of Bloomingdale passed away August 30, 2019 at his home with his wife, Janice at his side.

Mr. Reiter was born September 16, 1942 in Sykesville, PA to Robert and Gladys Reiter.

He attended Franklin High School in Franklin, PA.  He continued his education at Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, dancing, flying and traveling.  He was involved in the local Red Cross.

His wife, Janice of 57 years, survives him.  His two sons, Robert II (Delinda) from Ohio and Richard (Polly) from Florida and five grandchildren (Robert III, Greg, Austin, Abby, and Tyler) and one great grandchild (Cole).

His resting place will be the  Morningside Cemetery in DuBois, PA at a  family ceremony.

A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be on September 5, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m. with Rev. Jeremiah Cuttler officiating at Christian Church of Unionport, 3488 County Road 39, Bloomingdale, Ohio 43910.

Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
