Richard Lee Beaver, born on June 13, 1988, in Wheeling, passed away unexpectedly on his birthday at Wheeling Hospital due to complications from natural causes. Though his time with us was brief, Richard’s presence made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Richard devoted 15 years of his career to Dream Clean, then based in Wheeling, where he was known not only for his hard work but also for his infectious sense of humor and caring nature. He was a man who brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around him, often described as a funny, amazing goofball who was truly great in every sense of the word.
His love for life was most evident in the cherished moments he shared with his family and friends. Richard found profound happiness in the day he met the love of his life, Jennifer Hall, with whom he shared eight wonderful years. Together, they nurtured a family that included their beloved son Izah', as well as Jennifer’s two children, stepchildren Trae' and Xavier Busby of Martins Ferry.
Richard’s pride and joy was undoubtedly his son Izah', whose presence brought him immeasurable fulfillment. He was also a devoted uncle who loved his nieces and nephews dearly. His bond with his family was deep and genuine, strengthened by the support of his mother-in-law, Crystal Whitacre, affectionately known as “Mom.”
Outside of work and family, Richard had a passion for sports, indulging in fishing, football, basketball, and other athletic pursuits. He shared his love for animals with his dogs Max and Lily, as well as his cat Pepper, who were constant companions in his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Alan and Brenda (Garrison) Beaver, and his uncle Tommy Garrison. Despite these losses, Richard carried forward their legacy through his kindness and dedication to those he loved.
Richard Lee Beaver will be remembered as a remarkable individual who brought light and laughter to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and memorable moments that will forever be treasured by his family and friends. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family. A Crowd funding page has been set up below to help defray funeral costs.
