Raymond Lee "Sonny" Lane

Raymond Lee 'Sonny" Lane, 56, of Smithfield, OH passed away on March 11, 2026 at Trinity West Medical Center.  He was born on September 27, 1969.  to the late Harold Lane and surviving Judith (Wilson) Brodzinski.  Sonny was a brother, uncle, son, and a cat parent.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #396 and was a graduate of Buckeye North. 

 He is survived by his mother, his son Jessie Lee (Fiancée Abigail McClure)  Lane, four brothers Rian (Crystal) Lane of Wintersville, Clifford (Liz) Warrick of Brilliant, Frank (Pamela) Elliott of Chillicothe, Ron (Lisa) Brodzinski of Bergholz, one sister Rhonda (Erik) Rouse of Mingo Jct., OH, nephew Jacob (Gabrielle) Lane, of Wintersville, nieces Taylor Lane of Wintersville, and cousin  Lonna Casto of Smithfield.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
