Pauline Campbell, born on January 25, 1936, in Steubenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on January 20, 2026 surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife and a nurturing mother who lived a life filled with love, joy, and dedication to her family.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Leontyna (Zdanuk) Dylewski, and her husband Billy C. Campbell.
She is also preceded by Brothers Frank and Cas Dylewsi, and sisters Mary Macugoski, Bernice Krupinski, Anna Dylewski
She is survived by her three sons: Leonard (Rebecca) Campbell of Ocala, Florida; Gregory (Chris) Campbell of Pittsburgh; and David Campbell of Steubenville. Pauline was a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren and a beloved great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren, who will always hold fond memories of her warmth and kindness.
She was an active member of the Catholic women’s club at St. Stanislaus, where she fostered friendships and contributed her time and talents. Her joy in life was her family. Her passion for baking filled her home with delightful aromas, and she enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends. Pauline’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and are grateful for the time spent together.
A Mass of Christian Burial in her honor will be held held at Saint Peters Catholic Church in Steubenville, Ohio, on January 24, 2026, visitation from 9:00 am until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Father Timothy Huffman . Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pauline’s life and the love she so generously shared.
