Patricia Ann Goodrich, affectionately known as "Trish," was born on August 18, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio. She departed this world on January 18, 2026, after a courageous 15-year battle with Crohn's Disease, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Trish carried a spirit of warmth and generosity that radiated throughout her life. As a devoted wife and mother, she opened her home to anyone in need, welcoming family and friends with her signature open-door policy. Always the life of the party, she loved to fill her home with music, frequently serenading all who entered with her joyful singing. Her enthusiasm for life extended to her grandchildren, whom she encouraged to unleash their creativity by forming a rock band in the basement—an adventure they will fondly recall for years to come.
In her professional life, Trish wore many hats, including her work at a local pool hall and assisting in pet grooming. Yet her true joy came from the simple pleasures in life: her cherished coffee breaks at home, tending to her garden, and sharing precious moments with her husband and children. Alongside her love for gardening, she found delight in camping and riding horses, activities that reminisce of carefree days spent in the embrace of nature.
Trish's proudest accomplishments were her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a beacon of support, nurturing, and guidance to them, embodying the strength and love of a matriarch who invested wholeheartedly in all who relied on her.
She leaves behind three children, William (Angela) Goodrich of Mingo Junction, Angela Looman of Steubenville, and Joseph (Mary) Goodrich of Mingo Junction, along with nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her spirit forward in their hearts. Trish is also survived by her siblings: Gary (Carolyn) Powers of Steubenville, Bill (Julie) Powers of Mingo Junction, Tammy Ewing of Calcutta, Melissa (Scott) Cosgrove of Steubenville, and Betty Ledyard of Steubenville.
Trish's memory will be celebrated during visitation on January 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM with Pastor Vaughn A. Foster Sr. at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave in Mingo Junction, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Edward Goodrich, in 2007, and by her siblings Larry and Ralph Powers, the late Ralph Wilson, and Betty Loraine (Wickham) Powers.
In the hearts of those who knew Trish, her legacy lives on, reminding us of the beauty of love, family, and the joyful spirit she shared so freely with the world.
