Patricia "Pat" Marie Conlon Bell, 96, a cherished soul whose warmth and grace touched many, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born Patricia Conlon on March 14, 1930, in New York, NY, she carved a life rich with love, dedication, and generosity.

Pat had a unique childhood, adventuring with her sister in the hotels where her family lived and that her father managed. She graduated from Newtown High School in 1948, where she enjoyed her studies, embraced the joy of dance and many friendships. Her career reflected her versatility and charm; she was a model and later worked for the phone company. Shortly after she met and married the love of her life, Renwick (Ren) Wirt Bell, who pre-deceased her by 27 years. Their love and devotion were an incredible example to their children and all those who knew them.

Pat’s elegance and style were a hallmark of her presence, and she always looked "just so." She was known throughout her community for her kindness and creativity. Few could resist her delicious homemade brownies, a treat she lovingly baked for everyone in town. Her hobbies spoke volumes of her vibrant personality—she enjoyed crocheting, bowling, golf, collecting elephants, and most of all dancing with her husband. Her home was a hub of celebration, especially during Christmas, when she hosted her famous parties, filling hearts with cheer.

Pat’s life was marked by a commitment to service. She played a vital role in fundraising efforts that brought Good Samaritan Hospital on Long Island to fruition. Over five decades, she volunteered tirelessly at local hospitals, offering comfort and care with unwavering devotion. In her final gift to the community, she selflessly donated her body for medical research, continuing her legacy of giving even after passing.

Her family was the center of her world. Pat is lovingly survived by her four children: Renwick Bell of Lighthouse Point, FL; Kim and Tom Schneider of Huntsville, AL; Patty and Mike Bartnick of Steubenville, OH; and Heather and Nick Atria of Queens, NY. Her warmth extended through 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, each bearing the imprint of her boundless love.

She was preceded in death by her devoted parents Joseph Leroy Conlon and Dolores (Lavelle) Conlon, her treasured husband of 46 years, Renwick Wirt Bell, her sister Dolores A. Ranck, and her son-in-law Steven Lowe. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
