Nancy Faye Pellew passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2024, Born to Buford and Annie Pearl Banks, she enjoyed a life enriched by her passions for puzzle books, game shows on TV, Bible studies, and daily prayers for her beloved family.

Nancy’s journey was shared with her late husband, Rich Pellew. And her union with her ex-husband Carl Nielsen was blessed with five children: Rita Ashenfelder (aka Tina) of Weirton, WV, Terry Nielsen of Roscoe, IL, Ray Nielsen (wife Justine) of Washington, PA, Eric Nielsen (wife Stacey) of Lawton, OK, and the late Christopher Paul Nielsen. Her life was further graced by numerous grandchildren: Dallas Ashenfelder Jr. (aka D.J.), Ashleigh Nielsen, Gavin Nielsen, Jordan Nielsen, and Alaina Nielsen, Paul Nielsen, Hope and Khloe Nielsen, Alex Nielsen, Jessica Cepeda, Emily Macnear, and great-grandchildren: Maverick, Kaiden, and Aubree Cepeda, and Olivia Macnear.

Nancy also cherished her siblings, survived by David Franklin Banks and Mary Ellen Bolton of South Carolina, and preceded by her brothers Buford Banks Jr., and Henry Thomas Banks, and her sisters Annie Lois Thackston, Alice Louise Prince, Bobbie Nell Perry, Vivian Viola Banks, and Olga Jean Fortner.
