Mya Nicole Taylor, 24, of Mingo Junction, OH passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1999 to Travis Taylor and Leann Rocchio. She is survived by her devoted siblings: Nautica, Penelope, Taylor, Octavian, Kensey, and Hayden, each a testament to the bonds of family she held dear. Mya's warmth extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her paternal grandmother, Dolly (Jeff) Greenberg of Florida, Aunt Amanda (Chris Lehner) Greenberg of Pittsburgh, Uncle Christopher Conlon of Tiltonsville and Aunt Mary (Jeff) Wells of Toronto. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jackie Darrah, John Rocchio and great grandfather, Charles Kinsey.
Mya was a 2017 graduate of Buckeye Local High School. She exemplified kindness in every aspect of her life; placing the well-being of her loved ones above all else. She found joy in the company of her cherished friends and family, sharing laughter, listening to music and creating lasting memories. Mya's spirit of giving knew no bounds, even in her passing, as she selflessly chose to be an organ donor, granting the gift of life to three individuals in need.
Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Mya's life on Saturday, February 17, from 4 to 8 pm, with a service to honor her memory commencing at 6 pm at Schuetz Funeral Home, located at 235 Clifton Ave in Mingo Jct., OH. May we gather in remembrance, sharing stories of love and laughter, as we bid farewell to a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. Mya's light may have dimmed in this world, but her spirit shines eternally in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
