Mona Lisa Patton, a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mother known for her compassionate nature and unwavering dedication to her family, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at Dixon Nursing Home. Born on February 21, 1965, in Ashtabula, Ohio, Mona spent her life caring deeply for those around her, embodying a spirit of kindness and nurturing that touched the lives of many.
Throughout her years, Mona found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly cherishing moments spent watching television and most importantly, being with her beloved children and grandchildren. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, where love and care were always abundant.
Mona is lovingly remembered and survived by her three children: Vanessa Lytle(James U Roundtree) of Steubenville, Victor Lytle Jr. of Martins Ferry, and Vance Lytle, along with his wife Brittani Wade of Weirton. Her legacy continues through her eleven grandchildren: Asher Joe Lytle-Wade, Ariaana Rose Lytle, Alyah Paige Lytle, JaNa Renee Gary, Alex Zender Gary, Ava Mistical Gary, Jaden Stewart, Victoria Love-Grace Lytle, Anthony Wayne Lytle, Lilly Rose Lytle, and Cedella Aayla Lytle, all of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life. Mona also leaves behind cherished siblings who remember her fondly: Brother Harold John (Patty) Fyock Jr. of Wintersville, sister Norma Fyock of Little Washington, and sister Faye (Ron) Shaw. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pastor Ginger Veronica (Slieght) Fyock, and her significant other, Harold "Mitch" Mitchell. Mona Lisa Patton’s enduring compassion and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her commitment to her family and the gentle care she extended to those around her stand as a testament to a life well-lived. She will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. There will be no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
