Martin Floyd Horner "Toad", 71 passed away Nov. 14, 2024 at Valley Hospice Care Center North surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of the Late George Horner, Rochester, NY and Marge (Bleau) Horner, Richmond, OH. Martin was an Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Mt. Zion Apostolic Church Follansbee, WV. He was a truck driver from 1976-2016. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by Brother George "Butch" Horner of Pittsburgh, Pa. Sister Ruth Ann (Horner) Pilarski of State College, PA and Uncle Morris Bleau of Beech Bottom WV.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Susan K. (Beebe) Horner of Wintersville, OH. Daughters Nikki Butterworth (Brandon) of Moss Bluff, LA, Melissa (Tommy) Snyder of Nashville, TN, Sons Steven "Bubba" (Jamie) Horner of Cadiz, OH, Christopher (Stephanie) Horner of Mingo Jct., OH, Seven grandchildren Briannah, Tyler, Payton, Dorian, Haley, Stacie, Gaige, and great grandson Wyatt. When not at work or church he loved to go hunting with his sons. In his last years he could be found in his room watching ME TV or listening to and singing Gospel music with Alexa. He loved being visited by his children and grandchildren and looked forward to their daily calls. There will be a celebration of life service in May 2025 with Full Military Services. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
