Lynnette Louise Bloomfield

Lynnette Louise (Shriver) Bloomfield, 65, of Valley Grove, WV, passed away November 25, 2020. She was born on September 14, 1955 to the late James & Dorthy (Carpenter) Shriver of Bridgeport, OH.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Bloomfield; two sons Richard J. of Creston, OH & Ethan L. of Hillsborough, NC; granddaughter Avalynn Joy of Creston, OH; sister Emily Kay (Christopher) Shriver-Krahel of Lansing, OH; multiple aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, & cousins.

A 1973 graduate of Bridgeport High School & 1975 graduate of the Ohio Valley General Hospital Program of Radiologic Technology, she worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at OVMC and EORH for 41 years before retirement.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of West Alexander, PA, & served as a 4-H club leader for nearly 25 years. She never met a stranger & will be remembered by her smile, laugh, and sense of humor as well as her dedication to her family.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
