Lois Beverly (Adkison) Yeater

Lois Beverly Yeater, 80,  of Steubenville, OH passed away on February 3, 2024 at Valley Hospice Care Center North.  She was born in Smithfield, WV to the late William Vernon and Betty Jane (Ice) Adkison.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Yeater, a brother in law George Yeater, sister Barbara Sue Adkison, an Uncle Bert Ice Jr. and his wife Jessie (Lively) Ice.  Lois was a Presbyterian by faith, and a homemaker who graduated from Valley High School. She was a devoted mother, friend, very generous to a fault, she enjoyed garage sales, and checking on family friends almost daily by telephone.  She is survived by two children Tammy (David) Albaugh of Steubenville, Robert (Jamie) Yeater of Steubenville, step son   Dr. Douglas (Gina) Heldreth of Naples FL. , six grandchildren David (Lori) Albaugh, of Fisher’s Indiana, Emily Albaugh of Steubenville, Jordan (Hillary) Yeater of Hopedale, Cole (Taylor) Yeater, of Richmond, Matthew Heldreth and Hope Heldreth both of Naples, FL, and four great grandchildren, and best friend Joseph (Marionette) Matuska.   Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
