Leslee Leigh Frazier, 66, lovingly known as "Les," passed away at home on February 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with an acute onset of pancreatic cancer. Born on April 12, 1959, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she brought warmth, laughter, and light to all who knew her. A graduate of Martins Ferry High School, Class of 1977, Les pursued a career as an underwriter for United Bank of Wheeling and devoted her spirited energy to the role of Front Desk Supervisor at Wilson Lodge in Oglebay.
Les was much more than her professional accomplishments; she was a cherished family member and friend whose infectious joy resonated deeply among those fortunate enough to partake in her life. Her vibrant personality, characterized by a fun-loving nature and extreme devotion to others, illuminated each gathering. Memories abound of joyous Christmases spent selecting names from the Giving Tree, sharing thoughtful gifts, and the heartfelt family picnics that blossomed into jubilant traditions. Les often opened her home to the Wheeling Jesuit Girls Basketball team for family dinners during Thanksgiving so they could feel a sense of belonging, reflecting her boundless capacity for love and care.
As a fierce competitor, she thrived in sports, proudly holding the title of West Virginia State Racquetball Champion. She poured her passion for athletics into coaching volleyball in Martins Ferry, impacting countless youth and instilling in them the same spirit her family cherished.
Despite the challenges life presented, including the late arrivals to family events—the kind always punctuated with laughter rather than frustration—Les filled her days with the joy of family and friendships, snapping too many photos of beloved dogs, and nurturing connections that grounded her. She maintained her fitness at the West Virginia Racquet Club while embracing every opportunity to shop and spend time with her loved ones.
Les is survived by her beloved spouse, Gregory Scott Frazier, and their son, Cody Scott Frazier of Wheeling. She leaves behind three siblings: Charles “Chuckie” Peter (Susan) Krieger of Mansfield, TX; Kimberlee (Wayne) Oglibee of St. Clairsville; and Charlene Mary Dattoli of Plano, TX. The ripple effect of her love extends to several nieces and nephews—Dave (Bobbie Jo) Maguire, Lindsay (Jon) Curran, Chad (Nikki) Coyne—and great nieces and nephews: Charlie, David Jr, Laken, Nico, Conner, Peyton, and Avery.
A celebration of Les's remarkable life will take place at Schuetz Funeral Home in Wheeling, where friends and family can pay their respects during visitation from 4 PM to 8 PM, with funeral service at 5 PM, concluding the evening with the profound honor that her life deserves.
As we remember Leslee Leigh Frazier, let us hold dear the laughter she ignited, the love she exuded, and the legacy she leaves. In our heartbeats, she lingers, forever reminding us to celebrate life’s gifts with love, laughter, and unfailing kindness.
