Lena (Rea) Lowe

Lena Lowe, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on June 8, 2024 at the Louisville Center Nursing Home.  She was born on November 21, 1934 to the late Elden and Helena (Dufresne) Rea.  She is also preceded in death by her husbands first by Robert Lee Dowdell, and then by Charles Lowe.   is survived by six children Robert (Jan) Dowdell of Barbertown, John (Alice) Dowdell of Tiltonsville, Charles (Susan) Dowdell, of Martins Ferry, James (Chris) Dowdell Norton, David (Chris) Dowdell, Barbertown, Debbie ( Ken ) Ford of Louisville, many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  She was a homemaker, worked for RCA, and Ferry Hardware, loved her flowers, grandchildren, and the outdoors, especially birds.  There will be a celebration of Life service on Sunday June 23 at 12 to ? at the house.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
