Kathy Lynn (Knox) Gardner

Kathy Lynn (Knox) Gardner, 74, of Steubenville, OH passed away on December 5, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones.  Kathy was born on May 11, 1949 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy June (Barrett) Knox.  Kathy was also preceded in death by her soulmate Walter (Jerry) Gardner; two brothers: John and Edward Knox and grandson Travis James Bowers.  Kathy loved her cats, her family, going to bingo and attending kid's baseball games.  She was a die-hard Big Red & Steelers football fan and a sports fanatic in general.  Surviving are her daughter Michelle Renee Farnsworth, sons: Tyrone  James "TJ" (Lesa) Bowers and Todd  Allen (Deana) Bowers; sister Cindy Lee Knox; brother James (Lori) Knox, brother and sister-in-laws: Randy (June) Gardner and Peggy Gwinup, niece Jodi Lynn Myers; 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received on Sunday December 10 from 2 pm until time of services at 6 pm. at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., OH.  Please wear Steelers Garb.
