Kathleen Patricia Scott

Kathleen Patricia Scott, of Mingo Junction, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on April 18, 2026, at the age of 72 years old.  Kathleen was born on August 3, 1953, in Steubenville, Ohio, daughter of the late James and Hannah Means.  Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and grandmother. She was a devoted Christian, who counted on her faith in tough times. 

She enjoyed listening to gospel music, spending time with her family, watching her grandsons play ball and an avid Ohio State fan.  Kathleen is survived by her husband of 52 years Douglas Scott, two sons Sam (Kellie) Scott of Toano, VA and Benjamin “Jeff” (Michelle) Scott of Steubenville, Ohio, four grandchildren, Owen Cline-Scott, Tina Cline-Scott, Cameron Scott and RJ Scott, two

sisters Sharon Means and Shawna Means both of Mingo Junction, Ohio, one brother James “Jimmy” (Vickie) Means of Mingo Junction, Ohio. She has two nieces, Hannah (Shane) Reynard and Breanne (Josh Popkie) Keyoski, two great nieces, Lindy and Dallie Reynard and one great nephew Lane Keyoski. The family would like to thank everyone who helped take care of her the last few months including Southerncare Hospice and especially family friends Steve and Chris  Popkie.

Friends and family will be received to pay tribute to Kathleen on April 22, 2026 from 10am – 1 pm at Schuetz Funeral Home located at 235 Clifton Ave, Mingo Junction, Ohio with burial to immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery also located in Mingo Junction, Ohio.
