Joseph Richard Rasko Jr, 54, of Columbus, OH passed away on June 27, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on August 31, 1965 in Follansbee, WV to the late Joseph Richard Rasko Sr. and Surviving mother Martha (Hope) Rasko. Preceded in death by Mary Carol Kendrach.
He graduated from Mingo High School class of 1983, after which he graduated from Arizona State with a Bachelor’s degree in business, specifically project management. His time at ASU was fulfilled by his passion of playing in the percussion section for the Sun Devil’s Marching Band. From there, he took his skills to New York, working on Wall Street for Dean Witter Reynolds at the World Trade Center. Rising high in the company, he then turned his focus back to Ohio, settling down in Columbus. First at Bank One (Chase) and then to ACI, International. Not moving far from his love of performing, he joined the Capital Pride (past President) and even marching in President Barak O’Bama’s inauguration parade. He is survived by his partner of nearly 12 years, Dean and by his two sisters Brenda (Van Kirk) Carroll, Lisa Rasko and two brothers Gregory (Celina) Scott Rasko, Christopher (Kelli Larsen) Shawn Rasko, and many nieces and nephews. Goodnight sweet prince
