John Robert Wright

John R. Wright, 90, of Burgettstown, PA, passed away on November 7, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 13, 1931. John was the co-owner of Wright Sanitation and was employed by WJ Services until his retirement. He also proudly served in the United States Army. John was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn (Snodgrass) Wright, and daughter Penny Patton.  Surviving are his wife Sally (Elva) Wright, children J.R. (Pam) Wright, Ted (Patty) Wright, Donna Delong, Ruthie (Jim) Jones, Terry (Missy) Stickles, and Billyn (Dave) DeVaughn-Smith. John is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25.5 great-grandchildren, and a plethora of nieces and nephews.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
