John Michael Susac

John Michael Susac, born on October 2, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, departed this life on October 8, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Michael "Turk" Susac and the late Evelyn (Green) Susac.

John's career was marked by his dedication as he worked diligently at Ormet and in coal mining. He also proudly served his country for four years in the Air Force.

Beyond his professional life, John was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. 

John is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Williams (Terry Roberts) of Hannibal, Ohio and Staci Susac of St. Clairsville, Ohio. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter, Brielle Williams of Zanesville, Ohio. He also shared a close bond with his two sisters, Joanne Saner and Rose Snively (Terry) of Powhatan Point, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Gary, and Carl "Butch" Lucas.
