John William Sampson

John William Sampson, 50, of Mingo Jct., OH passed away on December 20, 2023 at home.  He was born on October 20, 1973 to the late William Blackburn and surviving Barbara (Parrish) Grandy of North Carolina.  He is also preceded in death by his step father Jay Floyd Grandy.  John was a big time star wars fan, Sci Fi Channel watcher. He graduated from Buckeye Local High school and worked for FedEx.  He is survived by his loving wife (Cheryl) Sampson,  his son John M. Sampson of Rose Hill, North Carolina, and one brother Bill (Lindsey Weyrauch) Sampson of Mingo Jct., OH.  Friends will be received on Saturday December 23, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm.  at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct. OH 43938.
