John Patrick Coyne, Jr. (Ernie) of Yorkville, OH passed away peacefully on January 12th, 2021 at Valley Hospice Care Center in Trinity Hospital in Steubenville. He was born on December 8th, 1950 to the late John Patrick Coyne, Sr. and Polly Ann Ennis. John was retired from industrial sales. He created Precision Machine Pump & Valve, Inc. in Florida, and moved his business to Ohio and West Virginia. John was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tiltonsville, OH, Sons of the American Legion, Martins Ferry, OH, The Italian Club in Martins Ferry, OH, and The Indian Club in Tiltonsville, OH. He often talked of the dear friends he had made there and the enjoyment they gave him. He is survived by his children, Eric (Jennifer) Coyne, Brian (Oliva) Coyne, Shelley Coyne, and Dane Coyne. John has four grandchildren who he loved being “Grandad” to: Cullen Coyne, Lilly and Michael Vavrock,
and Cire Coyne. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy (Bill) Street and brother, Chris (Kim) Coyne. Surviving siblings are Mike (Roseanne) Coyne, Patrick (Mary) Coyne, Pam (Kenny) Knox, Polly (Don) Blum, Marty (Angela) Coyne, and Maureen (Rich) Rabazinski. Private services are being held at the convenience of the family through the Tiltonsville United
