James Allen Wise

James Allen Wise, 48, of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, died Friday September 11, 2015 in Martins Ferry. He was born July 13, 1967, in Steubenville, the son of Debra Wise Weaver of Dillonvale and the late James Balzano. He was also preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Frances Eakle Wise. Jim had worked as a self employed tree trimmer. Surviving are three children, James A. Wise Jr. and Christina M. Wise both of Martins Ferry and Aubraney R. Gaffney (David) of Bloomingdale. Four brothers, John Bartimus (Valerie) of Hastings MI, Shanon Weaver (Tracy) of Windsor KY, Joseph Weaver (Lori) and Charles Vanchure (Amber) all of Mt. Pleasant OH. Two sisters, Debra Bartimus of Hastings MI and Angela Bartimus of Springfield MO. Also surviving are two grandchildren Kendall L. Palmer and Samantha Gaffney and several nieces and nephews including Damion Vanchure, Chloe Vanchure, Trinity Weaver, and Kailyn Weaver. Friends will be received Wednesday September 16, 2015 at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Junction, OH from 10-12 pm and again from 2:00 until time of service at 5:00 pm . Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
