Jack Lewis Reese Sr.

Jack Lewis Reese Sr., 72, of Mingo Jct., OH passed away on February 26, 2024 at Trinity West.  He was born on October 30, 1951 to the late Harry and Gladys (Saunders) Reese.  He is also preceded in death by his wife Linda Kay (McCartney) Reese, one son Jack Lewis Reese Jr., four siblings Larry Reese Sr., Harry Reese Jr., Ann Ciotti, and Terry Williams.   Jack worked as a coal miner for 20 years and went back to school and earned 3 degrees one of which helped him get a job at Homer Laughlin China Company where he was a millwright and electrician.  Jack is survived by one daughter Jamie Reese and (James Jones) of Mingo Jct., six grandchildren Jack Lewis Reese III, Joshua Reese, Justin Reese, Joseph Reese, James Jones Jr., Autumn Rayne Jones, and seven great grandchildren, one daughter in law Lori Reese of Rayland, two sisters Shirley Reed of Steubenville, and Naomi "Nehi" Saunders,  two dogs "Bella" his pride and joy, Ranja, and ice the cat.  There will be no services at this time for Jack and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
